01 / The work

One building, assessed properly, is the whole practice.

A propped service door. A fob that was never deactivated when the unit sold. A lockbox on the side gate. A delivery driver who was given the code once and still has it. None of it appears in a minute book, and the board only hears about it after something is gone.

Our practice is the residential building assessment — condo, HOA and apartment — delivered as a document a volunteer board can act on. We also advise offices, government facilities and critical infrastructure, and the method is the same one. The person who scopes the work delivers it.

02 / How we operate

Six working principles.

Honest findings

We report what we find, not what you hoped to hear. A false sense of security is worse than none.

Practitioner-led

Engagements are scoped and delivered by the same specialist. No bait and switch.

Written for non-professionals in security

A board is not a security department. The report is written to be read at a board meeting, not decoded after it.

Discretion

Strict NDAs and handling procedures on every engagement, without exception.

Actionable output

Findings ranked by how someone would actually use them, each carrying a price range — including the ones that cost nothing to fix.

Controls, never residents

We assess what the building does, not who lives in it or who visits. That holds in the assessment and in the rules we help boards write.

03 / People

The people behind the work.

Calibre is founder-led, and the person you speak to on the scoping call is the person who walks your building and writes your report. Specialists are brought in by name for engagements that need them, and introduced before they attend.
