Calibre Security Group LLC ("Calibre", "we", "us") provides physical security consulting services. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. We practice what we advise: we collect the minimum we need, and we handle it carefully.
We collect information you submit voluntarily through our forms: your name, work email address, phone number, job title, company name, country, and anything you write in a message field. If you download a resource (such as our Office Physical Security Self-Check), we collect the details you provide on that form. Like most websites, we also receive basic technical data — IP address, browser type, and pages visited — through standard server logs and the analytics cookies described below.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
We use trusted service providers to host this website, to filter spam from form submissions, to store the information you submit, and to deliver the emails we send you. They act as data processors on our behalf, under written data processing terms, and may use your information only to provide those services to us. Form submissions are stored on servers in the United States. If you are in the European Economic Area or the UK, this means your data is transferred to the United States; those transfers rely on safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. You can ask us for details of these safeguards (see below).
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use our website — for example, which pages are viewed and how far people read. This sets analytics cookies and collects usage data such as pages visited, approximate location, and device type, which we use only to improve the site. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics using Google's browser add-on; our forms continue to work without them.
When you submit a form — for example, to request an assessment or download a resource — we share a hashed (irreversible) version of the contact details you entered — your email address and, where provided, your name and phone number — with Google to measure the effectiveness of our advertising (Google calls this user-provided data and enhanced conversions). These details are hashed in your browser before they are sent, so Google does not receive them in readable form. We also assign your browser a random identifier, with no personal details in it, so that later visits can be recognised in Google Analytics as the same inquiry, and this data is used only to attribute inquiries to the advertising that prompted them — not to build a profile we can see. We rely on Google Analytics and Google Ads as data processors for this measurement.
Our videos are hosted on YouTube, TikTok and Instagram. On our pages you first see a preview image that we serve ourselves, except for some YouTube previews, which load from YouTube’s image server. Nothing else from those platforms loads until you press play. When you do, the video is played by that platform (Google, TikTok or Meta), which may set cookies and process your data under its own privacy policy. YouTube videos use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode.
We keep inquiry and lead records for as long as there is an active relationship or a realistic prospect of one, and delete records that are no longer needed. You can request deletion at any time (see below).
Depending on where you live — including under the EU/UK GDPR and similar laws — you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict its processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@calibresec.com. We respond within one business day and resolve requests without undue delay. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
Access to personal information is limited to those who need it, protected by strong authentication, and transmitted over encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure, but securing information — physical and digital — is our profession.
Our website and services are directed at businesses and public-sector organizations. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
